Rainbows and Unicorns

Since Thomas Moore wrote the novel Utopia, people have applied that name to any society that seemingly promise perfection. Everyone knows a Utopian society is impossible, but some have made their attempts through tight government control. Each attempt ended in suppressed liberties and sometimes massive loss of life. The Weather Underground of the 60's who had their version of Utopia for the USA, suggested that 14% of the population would never accept their world, and would have to be eliminated.

Death of the USA

The death of the United States is one vote away, either it be to ratify a treaty, or to elected a president. We must act now unless this magazine cover is to become reality. We are facing grave times.

Let's Remake the World

Barack Obama stood before a mesmerized crowd as if accepting a savior. Today the world view of Obama has changed greatly.
 I had hoped make all these postings humorous or at least satirical. I find that some subjects need to be presented and I find it impossible to make light  of the subject.
